Reading Charles' thread about how to carry loads had me thinking about what happens when I carry. My pack is a __________________, supposed to be one of the most comfortabel packs around, but I find I get bad neck and shoulder twinges when carrying loads of 20lbs+.

In order to get the weight on to my hips I end up loosening up the shoulder straps which causes my whole upper body to learn forward as you can see in this picture. If I tighten the shoulder straps then the weight moves off the hips and onto my shoulders.

Any other suggestions as to how to get the weight on to the hips with this pack without just loosening the shoulder straps.
